Inner inventory time. By: Osmara Vindel

I once heard someone say, "we are spiritual creatures having a physical experience", and this time/space reality is quite a journey... yet, the truth is there is so so so much more "out there" than we perceive with our physical senses.

Studies have shown that our conscious brain accounts for 3-4 % of our habitual thoughts, feelings, actions, and patterns. Our non-conscious brain control 96-97% of our habitual thoughts, feelings, actions and patterns. No wonder diets don't work, and we keep doing the same things over and over again and keep attracting the same scenarios into our reality! In order to make REAL change, we need to work with our non-conscious mind and become aligned with it. How you ask? We need to observe our outer reality to see the evidence of what's been going on within us. Take inventory of the different aspects of your life:
  • How's your body? What is it telling you? Is it the reflection of the You you wish to see?
  • How are your relationships? Are they strong and loving and supporting? Or are they tinted with tension, animosity, or assumptions?
  • How is your financial situation? If it's any less than you desire, what beliefs have you adopted that created your current situation? Where is your financial focus? Have you adopted habits that have gotten you here today? Are they habits that serve you or disempower you?
  • How connected are you with your Higher Self and Source? How do you personally gauge this connection? What does it mean to YOU to be connected with your inner being and source of all that is?
  • What's your career looking like these days? Are you happy with the way you spend your days? Are you satisfied with the route your life is taking?

It's very important to take the time to revise our inner inventory. By taking a snapshot of where we are, we can then decide where we want to be, and what steps we must take to get there.

Remember this: Your current reality is the result of your past thoughts, feelings, and actions. Period. In order to create change, we must tweak our thoughts, feelings, and actions to align with what we want to create. Change happens from within and permeates every angle of our outer lives. The proof is in the pudding.

So today, set aside a few minutes and take inventory. Grab a piece of paper and a pen and go over the points listed above. Be completely honest with yourself and allow yourself to accept your current life without judgement. We created it! We created the good, the bad, the ugly, the nice, and the painful... buuuuuuut, that means we can also create something different! After you've taken inventory - go over each life aspect and think about what you want. What do you want your future to look like? What do you want to accomplish? Who do you want to become? Fully allow yourself to dream, and desire, and get in the feeling place of what that picture looks like.

You egoic mind will come up with 101 reasons why you can't achieve this, why you can't do that, why you shouldn't attempt this... our egos (and we aaaaaall have them!) want to keep us riiiiiiight where we are - away from change and therefore away from growth. That's why it's important to connect with your Higher Self - with your subconscious mind to be grounded when that non serving self talk starts rearing it's sneaky little head. Go ahead! Do it! What have you got to lose?

A wise man, Napoleon Hill, once said "Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve"

I believe this 100%... He did not say it was easy or a walk in the park - it requires action, courage, and effort... So, look around. Decide. Believe. Envision. Act.

We are all powerful beyond belief... every single one of us.
